I purchased this coat for my 3 year old because it was a cold Fall and her normal Fall jacket wasn't cutting it. This coat came quickly and it was adorable right out of the package. It was a little big on her but she's very petite so I think if your child is average sized it would fit true to size. The absolute best thing about this coat is how easy it is to clean. If she gets anything on it, I can just throw it in the washer and it comes out looking brand new. I would purchase from this company again. They make really cute and warm coats for kids.
